Renovated Tuskegee Airmen Field unveiled at Tandy Park
City leaders held a ribbon-cutting Thursday at Tandy Park for millions of dollars in upgrades to Tuskegee Airmen Field in north St. Louis — new turf, bleachers, a scoreboard, and a midfield logo honoring the Tuskegee Airmen.
The field, originally developed under the late Alderman Sam Moore, supports youth sports; advocates called it critical for neighborhood kids.
