Pints for Polio kicks off Tuesday at Springfield Beer Co.
The Rotary Club of Springfield and Springfield Beer Company, 3788 Wabash Ave., are teaming up for Pints for Polio: from Oct. 6 to Oct. 24, $1 from every pint of 95 Golden Lager sold goes toward polio eradication, Illinois Times reports.
A kickoff social with a 50/50 drawing is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6. Proceeds go to Rotary International’s PolioPlus Fund ahead of World Polio Day on Oct. 24.
