City’s first self-cleaning public restroom takes shape in West Town
Foundation work is complete for Chicago’s first self-cleaning public toilet near the CTA Blue Line Polish Triangle (Division, Ashland, Milwaukee), the Sun-Times reports. JCDecaux is providing the unit and maintenance at no cost; more than $400,000 in plumbing and install comes from 1st Ward menu funds.
An opening date is not yet set while utilities are finished.
